Mobile infrastructure connecting publisher applications to managed advertising services.
Pinsight’s mobile advertising SDK gave publishers a packaged integration between their apps and Pinsight’s advertising operation. A surviving Solar2D configuration references the Pinsight Media plugin, while contemporary company material describes Pinsight’s work across mobile advertising, analytics, and app distribution.
An SDK runs inside somebody else’s product. Its API, binary footprint, lifecycle behavior, and failure modes become part of the host application, so integration quality directly affects both developer trust and the end-user experience.
My work sat on the iOS side of that boundary—building and supporting reusable libraries while helping product teams integrate and ship them. The goal was an integration that served the advertising product without compromising the host app’s experience.
Pinsight operated at the intersection of mobile media, analytics, app distribution, and Sprint’s first-party network data. During 2017, company announcements focused on data quality and carrier-level audience targeting. InMobi acquired Pinsight in 2018, after my tenure, as part of its broader advertising and marketing platform.
